A goal one minute from time by striker Ruben Castro earned Real Betis a 1-0 win at Real Valladoid on Monday.
The 89th minute winner, Castro’s first goal of the La Liga season, earned Betis their second win of the new campaign and moved them to seventh place on the table with six points.
Castro, 31, and in his third season with the club, has now scored 44 goals in 77 appearances but few would have been sweeter than this effort against Valladoid, who have the same points as Betis but slump to 10th.
