Real Betis moved up to fourth in La Liga with the final Champions League spot now a distinct goal after back-to-back wins.

On-loan Costa Rican attacker Joel Campbell scored from long range to end Deportivo La Coruna’s challenge in a 3-2 win.

Riki pulled the home side level with goals in the 56th and 61st minute after Ruben Castro had put Betis ahead with a first-half double.

Nacho set up both goals for Castro with the visitors seemingly in high spirits following last weekend’s shock win over Real Madrid.

Levante snatched a 1-1 draw at Celta Vigo thanks to substitute Roger Marti’s goal a minute from time after an exquisite passing combination.

Levante’s Obafemi Martins had twice come close to netting but was spared his blushes by Marti.

Celta Vigo went ahead on 37 minutes through Enrique de Lucas’ low drive.

Celta looked set for all three points until Michel found Marti after a fine passing sequence to volley home.

Struggling Mallorca earned an important point with Victor’s late equaliser sealing a 1-1 draw at home to Real Zaragoza.

Portugal international Helder Postiga opened the scoring for Zaragoza on 16 minutes but the visitors could not hold out having played over an hour with 10 men following Glenn Loovens dismissal.
