Newly-signed Lille goalkeeper Mickael Landreau has been ruled out for at least six months with a serious knee injury, the club confirmed on Saturday.
The 30-year-old former French international has ruptured cruciate ligaments in his knee just six days after signing from Paris Saint Germain in a three-year deal.
His place will be taken by Ludovic Butelle, 26, who also recently signed for three years after being on loan with the north-eastern side last season.
