Veteran striker Henrik Larsson is determined to conquer a spot in Sweden’s starting line-up for the upcoming European Championships.

Larsson, whose announcement to be available for the team came as a bit of a surprise, will have tough opposition:

“I’ll be there as serious competitor for the other strikers, but of course I know it’ll be very hard for me to be in the starting line-up.”

“First I will aim for a role in the attack, but of course there are other possibilities,” he continued.

If Larsson fails to get a spot as attacker, he might move a little to the back to take on the role of attacking midfielder.
