Lavezzi to stay at Napoli

Argentine star Ezequiel Lavezzi’s agent insists the forward will remain loyal to Napoli.

Lavezzi has previously this summer admitted that he would be keen on leaving the club.

“Ezequiel Lavezzi has returned to Napoli to prepare with the team in Austria,” Rossetto confirmed to Calciomercato.it.

“He is peacefully exercising his profession as a player, by making his duty of loyalty and fidelity clear, compared to many others.

“He has not asked for a pay rise, so he does not deserve to continue to endure insults from the public.

“He solely wants to fulfil his duty as a Napoli player, whilst doing the best he can for himself and for the team.”
