Serie A giants Lazio are on the verge of completing a deal for Inter Milan defender Danilo D’Ambrosio, according to Tuttosport.
The Biancocelesti are desperate to sign a quality full-back by the time the transfer window closes and the Nerazzurri footballer has emerged as their primary target.
It is no secret that Inter want to offload D’Ambrosio this summer and Lazio clearly plan to offer him an escape route from Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
They are also looking at his teammate Yuto Nagatomo, who appears to be nearing a move to Genoa at the moment.
Danilo D’Ambrosio joined Inter Milan from Torino in January 2014 and has since managed 34 Serie A appearances for the club.
The 26-year-old hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth since leaving Granata and he will probably welcome the change of scenery, even if he will have to work hard for first team opportunities at Stadio Olimpico as well.
