Lazio won for the first time since November 9 in a 1-0 success over Palermo to move up to sixth in the Serie A table on Saturday.
On a day when the arrival of David Beckham in Milan overshadowed things on the pitch, Lazio finally found their winning touch again.
The early season leaders had gone five matches without a win but overcame their Sicilian opponents thanks to a strike from club captain Tommaso Rocchi, who nipped in front of his marker to clip home Frenchman Mourad Meghni's near post cross.
In the day's other match, champions and leaders Inter Milan travel to Siena looking to extend their lead over second place Juventus to nine points, for a day at least.
