Lazio in talks for Cedric Bakambu

El Mundo Deportivo has learned that Lazio are hot on the trail of Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu.

The Biancocelesti have experienced plenty of problems up front this term, with the likes of Klose, Djordjevic, Matri and Keita scoring mere 12 league goals between them.

It is, therefore, no wonder they have made recruiting a high-profile striker a priority and it appears that Villarreal’s Cedric Bakambu is at the top of their hit list.

Lazio officials have already made the first contact with the player’s employers as they are eager to lure him to Stadio Olimpico in the summer.

But, considering that the 24-year-old has a deal until June 2020 at El Madrigal, it will take at least €15 million to secure his services.

Cedric Bakambu has enjoyed an excellent start to his career in Spain, having scored 11 goals in first 28 La Liga appearances for the Yellow Submarine.
