Leicester 17/10 to beat West Ham in Friday’s Premier League battle

Competition: Premier League

Market: Leicester to beat West Ham

Odds: 17/10 @ Bet365

The Premier League is back this weekend with a number of huge games to come. Gaps have started to appear across the table, and every point is becoming even more important as teams that are fighting at the top and the bottom look so consolidate their positions. With this in mind, struggling West Ham host Leicester on Friday evening.

For West Ham, it has been an abysmal campaign. After 12 games they have collected just nine points, winning two games, drawing three and losing seven times. Despite heavy investment in the squad, they have only scored 11 goals and conceded 25 times, which is not good enough, and it saw the demise of Slaven Bilic, with David Moyes brought in to try to arrest their slide. In their last five games they have not won, losing three times and drawing twice, and they must find a way to gain victory in their next game as pressure builds on the London side.

For Leicester, things are looking up hugely in recent weeks. Following the sacking of Craig Shakespeare, Claude Puel has been able to turnaround their run of form and they have managed to take eight points from a possible 15, only losing to Manchester City in their last five. Their good run of form has seen them rise to 12th in the league with 13 points, four clear of their next opponents in 18th. David Moyes will be desperate to claim his first win as manager of the Hammers, but we are backing Leicester to win with odds of 17/10 from Bet365.
