Leicester 9/10 to beat Crystal Palace in Saturday’s Premier League game

Competition: Premier League

Market: Leicester to beat Crystal Palace

Odds: 9/10 @ Bet365

The Premier League is back for another weekend of massive matches as the competition enters a pivotal stage. The festive period gives every side a chance to pick up some much-needed points, and a team that fails to embark upon a good run of form in December often falls to the wayside in the league. With all of this in mind, Leicester host Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Leicester have been in superb form in recent weeks and they are looking above them at the Europe League places already. In their last five games they have won four and drawn once, which has helped the Foxes to climb up to eighth in the league with 26 points, just five behind fifth-placed Liverpool. The rise has been as surprising as it is swift, with the former-champions staring at the prospect of a relegation battle mere weeks ago. Leicester will feel that their game with Crystal Palace is a great chance to pick up three more points and apply even more pressure on those above them.

Crystal Palace have been struggling massively this season but there seems to be a glimmer of hope for the side. Roy Hodgson has been superb since he was installed as manager, and the team have remained unbeaten in their last five, winning twice and drawing three times. This has seen Palace rise up to 18th in the league with 14 points, level with West Brom in 17th and safety. If Hodgson’s men can continue on their upward curve, then they will surely begin to move up the table and away from danger. With all of this in mind, we are backing Leicester with odds of 9/10 from Bet365.
