Leicester eye Drinkwater return

Leicester City are considering a move to re-sign Danny Drinkwater, according to the Independent.

The twenty-eight-year old moved to Stamford Bridge on deadline day last summer though he played just twelve times in the Premier League last term, scoring his one and only goal for the club in a 5-0 win over Stoke City in December.

Prior to his move to the capital, Drinkwater played over two hundred times for the Foxes, helping them clinch promotion to the top flight in 2014 before being part of the squad that won the Premier League title two years later.

His form for the East Midlands side saw him break into the England side in 2016 when he won three senior caps though he has not played for the Three Lions since.

Leicester kick off their campaign at Manchester United on Friday evening and the away win can be backed at a price of 7/1.
