Leighton Baines dismisses Bayern move

Everton defender Leighton Baines says he has no intention of leaving the club despite heavy interest from Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians have made Baines their number one target in January as they look to reinforce the left side of defence, but it seems they will have to look elsewhere.

The Everton left-back, who’s been in scintillating form this season, says he is fully committed to the Toffees.

“I tied myself to the club in the summer and I have no intentions of leaving the club, I am not looking elsewhere.

“I am completely focused on what I am doing here and have only just committed myself to the club. I am just concentrating on playing for Everton.”
