Borussia Dortmund youngster Moritz Leitner is dreaming of taking on Barcelona in the Champions League this season.
The Bundesliga champions beat Real Madrid, Ajax and Manchester City to top Group D in order to book their ticket for the knock-out stages, and Leitner is looking forward to possibly testing himself against the best later in the competition.
“If we continue to progress then we’re sure to come up against Barcelona at some point. That would of course be a dream come true,” Leitner said.
“Testing yourself against world stars like (Lionel) Messi, (Andres) Iniesta and Xavi would be amazing.
“We targeted the last 16 and we’ve managed to get there. Now we’ll have to see what happens and perhaps we can get into the quarters. I don’t really mind who we play against.”
The draw for the round of 16 takes place on December 20 in Nyon, Switzerland.
