Lemar back on Premier League giants’ radars

Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool could both be set to lose their star wingers some time soon, and unsurprisingly they are already in the market for potential replacements. Sadly the two clubs want the same man, Thomas Lemar, according to L’Equipe, and there will hopefully be a monumental battle to acquire his services.

The Gunners will likely be seeing the back of Alexis Sanchez in January, making their need for a talented left sided player a tad more urgent. The Chilean has been a crucial player under Arsene Wenger, but Lemar, who bagged nine goals and 10 assists in Monaco’s title-winning 2016/17 season, could certainly fill his boots.

Liverpool meanwhile have the top flight’s most prolific scorer in Mohamed Salah, but the Egyptian is being heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid as a result of his great form.

With Philippe Coutinho also set for an exit, Jurgen Klopp could be losing the heart of fearsome attacking line, so bringing in Lemar may be more of a necessity come the end of the season.
