Leon Goretzka wants Barcelona switch

Catalan media outlet El Mundo Deportivo understands that Schalke starlet Leon Goretzka has set his sights on joining Barcelona.

The attacking midfielder will be leaving the Miners either in January or at the end of the season as his contract is due to expire in June.

Having seen clubs like Bayern Munich, Juventus, Liverpool and Barcelona show interest in his services, Goretzka is set to leave for greener pastures.

According to reports, the Germany international hopes to move to Camp Nou, which is great news for the Catalans, who are in need of midfield reinforcements.

Leon Goretzka, 22, quickly developed into an important player for both club and country, and he already has 6 goals in 12 Germany caps.
