Porto kept the pressure on Liga Sagres leaders Benfica with a 5-0 home win over Gil Vicente on Monday.

An own goal by Vitor Simoes da Vinha seven minutes later gave Porto a 2-0 lead which they held until half-time.

Belgian midfielder Steven Defour scored the third after 54 minutes before goals from Silvestre Varela in the 75th minute and Colombian striker Jackson Martinez in stoppage time completed the rout.
