The win, Vitoria’s third in their past five games, helped the club consolidate sixth place on the Liga table.

Nacional’s defeat, their first in the past five matches, keeps them in eighth on 19 points for now, although they could be overtaken by Olhanense, who are away to struggling Vitoria Setubal on Sunday.
