Zlatan Ibrahimovic was once again on target for Paris Saint-Germain, who struck a trio of second-half goals at Brest to win 3-0.
Although Ibrahimovic found Brest goalkeeper Alexis Thebault in outstanding form, the Swede broke the deadlock in the second half after the hosts had been reduced to 10 men on 35 minutes when Abdou Sissoko was dismissed.
Kevin Gameiro secured the points with a quarter of an hour remaining, and an injury-time own goal which came after Christophe Jallet’s shot was wickedly deflected made it three.
The result saw PSG provisionally go a game clear of Lyon, who host Nice on Saturday, on top of the Ligue 1 table.
Meanwhile, Brest are 13th and depending on results this weekend could drop as low as 17th by Sunday.
