Ligue 1 star talks up big club move

Toulouse hotshot Wissam Ben Yedder believes he is ready to leave his current employers for a top European club.

The 23-year-old has been showing a great deal of potential ever since he nailed down a regular starting berth at Stade Municipal some two years ago and he was tipped to leave le Tefece this summer.

Ben Yedder ultimately remained at the club, but he now admits that a move away from Toulouse is on the cards.

“My situation this summer? I have asked a lot of questions. In my head, it was not too early to leave,” the talented forward explained to L’Equipe.

Ben Yedder has been mentioned as a target for mighty Barcelona and the player admits he is flattered to be linked with the Catalans.

“The interest of Barcelona? It really means something. FC Barcelona is everyone’s dream.”

Wissam Ben Yedder came through the youth ranks at Toulouse and went on to score 31 league goals in last two seasons.

He has started the new campaign brightly, netting four times in seven fixtures, and if he continues his current form a big club move as well as France debut will not be far away.
