Auxerre overcame a two-goal deficit to earn their first point of the Ligue 1 season on Sunday, drawing 2-2 at home to Marseille.

Goals to Loic Remy and Andre Ayew gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at the break at the Stade de l’Abbe Deschamps.

But Laurent Fournier’s side fought back, responding with an Alain Traore goal just a minute after the interval, before second-half substitute Roy Contout earned them a valuable point with an 81st-minute goal.

Promoted side Evian TG accounted for Nice 1-0 at the Parc des Sports, with Saber Khelifa scoring the winner on 51 minutes.

Montpellier joined a group of four teams on two wins from as many matches, following a 1-0 away victory over champions Lille at Stadium Nord Lille Metropole.

Oliver Giroud’s 70th-minute goal was the difference between the two sides, leaving Rudi Garcia’s men with just one point from their opening two encounters.
