Paris Saint-German again failed to take three points in Ligue 1 as Stade Rennes equalised late on, while Lyon also drew.

The big-spending club, managed by Antoine Kombouare, lost on the opening day of the season but looked headed for victory on Saturday when one of their new signings, Kevin Gameiro, made it 1-0 on 73 minutes.

But Burkina Faso international Jonathan Pitroipa denied them all three points when he made it 1-1 two minutes from full-time.

Meanwhile, Lyon needed an 84th-minute leveller from Lisandro Lopez to secure a 1-1 draw against Ajaccio.

The promoted team had gone ahead through midfielder Frederic Sammaritano, but just failed to hold on for what would have been a huge upset.

Goals from Turkish striker Umut Bulut and Portuguese midfielder Paulo Machado ensured Toulouse made it consecutive wins with a 2-0 victory over another promoted side, Dijon.

A stoppage-time equaliser from Henrique helped Bordeaux to a 1-1 draw with Lorient, who had Yann Jouffre to thank for their earlier lead.

Defender Sylvain Marchal hit the winner in Saint Etienne’s 1-0 win over Nancy, while Caen recorded a 2-1 victory at Sochaux.

Romain Hamouma and Pierre-Alain Frau netted before Ryad Boudebouz’s late consolation goal.
