A goal from Zlatan Ibrahimovic was enough to hand PSG 1-0 victory over Bordeaux and reclaim top spot on the Ligue 1 table.
The Swedish star latched onto a Lucas Moura pass on the stroke of half-time to give his side the win and end Bordeaux’s undefeated home record.
The result sees Carlo Ancelotti’s side move to the summit of Ligue 1 on 42 points with Lyon behind them on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Nice ensured they retained their place in the top four with a 2-0 over Lille at the Grand Stade Lille Metropole.
After a scoreless first half, Argentine defender Renato Civelli broke the deadlock with 13 minutes to play before Neal Maupay made the points safe nine minutes later.
The victory sees Nice keep Rennes out of the top four for at least another week despite the Brittany side enjoying a 2-0 win of their own over Bastia in the day’s other game.
Romain Alessandri’s eighth goal of the season opened the scoring after 34 minutes with Mevlut Erdinc doubling the away side’s advantage midway through the second half.
The result means Rennes remain level on points with Nice with only goal difference separating the two sides.
