Ligue 1 outfit Lille have joined the chase to sign Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma from Besiktas, according to Turkish media outlet Tavkim.
Gerard Lopez, a businessman from Luxembourg, is expected to become the new les Dogues owner, with Luis Campos to be appointed his right hand man.
And if the proposed takeover goes ahead in the coming weeks, Lille could make Besiktas star Ricardo Quaresma their first signing of the winter transfer window.
Namely, Luis Campos is keen on bringing the mercurial winger to Stade Lille Metropole, although there are other clubs interested in his services.
Several Chinese Superleague sides are also after Quaresma, who will be out of contract at the end of the current season.
Besiktas are even prepared to consider a January transfer, but they want at least €10 million for their prized possession.
Ricardo Quaresma is nearing the end of his second spell with the Black Eagles, and he has managed a total of 24 goals and 39 assists in 121 competitive outings for Besiktas.
