Lille are expected to complete the signing of striker Park Chu-Young from Monaco, L’Equipe reports.
Les Dogues have been looking to add another forward to the squad following the departure of Gervinho and Pierre-Alain Frau.
They have opened negotiations with Monaco for the highly rated forward few weeks back, and have finally managed to reach an agreement.
The 26-year-old is expected to sign a three-year deal worth around €2.3 million per season with LOSC later today.
The cost of the transfer is €3 million, while Monaco will be due another €2 million if the player avoids military service, for which he should report in two years.
The Korea Republic international is widely considered as one of the best strikers in France, but he faces a stiff competition for three places in Rudi Garcia’s attack from Payet, Hazard, Sow and De Melo.
