Competition: FA Cup
Market: Liverpool to win against Aston Villa
Odds: 1/3 @ William Hill

Aston Villa and Liverpool square off at Wembley this afternoon in the FA Cup semi-finals. The Midlands outfit made it there by seeing past Blackpool, Bournemouth, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion, and are hoping they can be the bogey team for Liverpool when the two sides locks horns later on. The Reds had an easier run-in to the semi-finals, beating AFC Wimbledon, Bolton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Blackburn Rovers.

Liverpool won 2-0 the last time the two Premier League sides met, but the Villans do have a good recent record against the Merseysiders that could see them pull of a shock. Tim Sherwood’s men have won one, drawn one of their last three league meetings, and striker Christian Benteke has a good scoring record in games against the Reds too.

Nevertheless, Liverpool are the slim favourites to emerge victorious by any means, with Brendan Rodgers’ side boasting a lot of creative and attacking individuals. William Hill, as a result, are giving odds of 1/3 for the Reds to reach the final of the competition be it extra time or penalties against Villa this afternoon.
