Competition: Europa League
Market: Liverpool to win against Villarreal
Odds: 3/4 @ Coral

Liverpool host Villarreal at Anfield tonight in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final clash, and are favourites to come out on top to book their place in the final.

The Reds have a 1-0 aggregate deficit to turn around, but they have shown they can deliver miracles on home soil in this competition after dispatching of Dortmund in the quarter-finals.

Liverpool will need a two-goal margin victory tonight, and will have to score three times should Villarreal get on the scoresheet at Anfield. However, given how defensive the Spaniards were in the first leg, the Reds can control the tie and get the job done. Jurgen Klopp has rotated the squad to keep players fresh, and their form in the Europa League has been very impressive.

The Reds beat Borussia Dortmund over two legs in the quarter-finals to make it this far, and they were good value for a draw against Villarreal in the first leg of the semis. Liverpool have been beaten just the once in the competition this season, and have dispatched of Manchester United earlier on in addition to Dortmund.

Four consecutive home wins in the competition sees Liverpool in good shape to get a result, but Villarreal are the last side unbeaten in the Europa League so they are no slouches. The La Liga outfit have, however, picked up only two wins from six away games, and Coral are giving odds of 3/4 for Liverpool to capitalise.

The Reds will force extra time with a 1-0 win, but from then on will need a two-goal gap over Villarreal to reach the final or it would go to penalties.
