“Pompey have had a bid for Jermaine Pennant accepted by Liverpool,” annonced Portsmouth. “We plan to discuss personal terms with the player over the next few days.”
Pennant is now set for talks at Fratton Park. The former Arsenal youngster is well known to Pompey boss Tony Adams from his own time with the Gunners.
