Liverpool eyeing Robertson

Liverpool are lining up a move for Hull City full-back Andy Robertson, according to the Express.

Despite Napoli failing in a bid for Alberto Moreno earlier this month, the Spain international is set to move on this summer and Jurgen Klopp is keen to fill that void with the former Dundee United man.

The Reds have been tracking the Scotland international for the last two years and could be set to make a bid after fellow target Ryan Sessegnon penned his first professional contract with Fulham.

Monaco’s Benjamin Mendy was also on their shortlist though he is closing in on a move to Manchester City.

Since arriving at the KC Stadium in the summer of 2014 Robertson has racked up one hundred and fifteen appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals.

Internationally, he has been capped fifteen times for Scotland with his one and only goal for his country so far coming in a 3-1 friendly defeat to England in November 2014.
