Liverpool keen on Burak Yilmaz

Sky Sports has revealed that Liverpool are showing interest in Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz.

As star striker Luiz Suarez nears closer to Anfield exit, Brendan Rodgers is scouring the market looking for potential replacements.

According to Sky Sports, Turkish forward Burak Yilmaz is one of the first names on the Reds’ hit-list.

Following several impressive campaigns in Turkish Super Lig, the 27-year-old is reportedly looking for a new challenge, with Galatasaray ready to sell if the price is right.

Burak has so far been linked with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal, but Liverpool appear to be the first side prepared to make their interest concrete.

The highly rated forward has been scoring goals for fun of late, bagging 76 league goals in last three seasons.

He also managed to prove his worth in Europe’s elite competition, netting 8 times in 9 Champions League fixtures last season.
