Liverpool keen on Inaki Williams

Mundo Deportivo understands that Liverpool are hot on the trail of Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams.

The Reds boast a very small squad and lack quality options up front, meaning they could reinforce their front line in the January window.

Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo claims that manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Athletic Bilbao winger Inaki Williams and he will attempt to bring him to Anfield at the earliest opportunity.

That could prove a difficult task considering that Athletic did not sign a single new player in the summer and they are unlikely to entertain offers for one of their key men midway through the season.

Inaki Williams, 22, is yet another impressive product of Athletic’s youth academy and he has so far scored 10 goals in 52 La Liga appearances.

Used mostly on the right wing, the talented footballer can also operate as a centre forward or left winger.
