Liverpool looking at Sule

Liverpool are interest in making a move for Germany defender Niklas Sule, according to the Daily Star.

The Merseyside club brought in defenders Ragnar Klavan and Joel Matip in the summer and are looking to make further additions when the transfer window reopens, with the twenty-one year old high on their list.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has been casting an eye over the Hoffenheim centre-back, who made his senior international debut in a friendly victory over Finland in August having been capped at every level from U16 to U21 while he also featured at this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio where he won a silver medal.

Since breaking into their first team the twenty-one year old has racked up eighty Bundesliga appearances, scoring five goals.

Liverpool moved to within two points of league leaders Manchester City at the weekend after coming from behind to beat Swansea City 2-1.
