Liverpool rule out Domagoj Vida move

Croatian international defender Domagoj Vida is a target for quite a number of Europe’s top clubs with Liverpool believed to be among those interested in the Besiktas star.

Sources close to the Premier League outfit claim, however, that Reds have no interest in Vida whatsoever, with Liverpool Echo claiming that coach Jurgen Klopp is satisfied with his centre-back options ahead of the new season.

Liverpool have recently bolstered their ranks by bringing in Virgil van Dijk and Klopp believes that with Lovren, Matip and Klavan the Anfield-based club will have it all covered as far as the heart of the defense is concerned.

Domagoj Vida has regardless emerged as a persistent speculation for Liverpool following his impressive World Cup exploits.

The likes of Fulham, West Ham and AS Monaco are also said to be in the running for Vida’s services but Besiktas are said to be holding out for a €30 million fee.
