Liverpool target can leave if price is right

Belgian giants Anderlecht have informed clubs interested in signing midfielder Dennis Praet that the player will not come on the cheap.

The 18-year-old has shone for the RSCA this season and has seen top European clubs line up for his signature.

Ajax and Liverpool are believed to be leading the race at the moment and while the Belgian club are not too keen on selling their hottest prospect, they admit the player can leave for the right price.

“If they want to get him, they will have to dig very deep into their pockets,” Anderlecht sporting director Herman Van Holsbeeck told Gazet van Antwerpen.

However, the official denied there had been any contact with the interested clubs.

“We have heard nothing from Ajax and even less from Liverpool.”

Dennis Praet, who was handed a first team debut last season, has been in fine form this season, scoring 2 goals in 8 league appearances.

However, it was his solid showings in team’s Champions League campaign that were responsible for such a huge interest in his services.
