Liverpool want Dortmund to buy Origi

According to The Telegraph, Liverpool will not allow Borussia Dortmund to sign Divock Origi on loan until an agreement is put in place whereby there’s an obligation for them to purchase the Belgian. Origi, 23, joined the Reds back in 2014 from Lille, but seems to represent an older breed of forwards that Liverpool used to bring in that wound up flopping. He found some success with Wolfsburg last season where he went out on loan, and now, it seems obvious that his future won’t be at Anfield.

Dortmund are still somewhat interested in the possibility of buying him, but they believe that the £27 million valuation from Liverpool is too high of a figure. Origi currently has two years left on his deal with the German club preferring the idea of signing him on loan, but as it stands, Liverpool are staying firm as this ongoing saga between the two clubs continues to develop.
