Liverpool willing to let Markovic move to Watford in a cut-price deal

Serbian winger Lazar Markovic does not feature in Jurgen Klopp’s plans and will be allowed to leave Liverpool on the permanent basis this summer.

Having arrived at Anfield in 2014 on the back of a £20 million transfer from Benfica, Markovic made only 11 starts in the Premier League and scored three goals for Liverpool in all competitions.

The Serb international was loaned out to Fenerbahce and Sporting before returning to the Premier League for another loan spell at Hull City under the guidance of Marco Silva. And with Silva now being appointed new Watford boss, Lazar Markovic is tipped to be reunited with the manager who gave him a shot back in the Premier League.

Lazar Markovic is thought to be available for £12 million as Mirror claim that Liverpool are prepared to get the Serbian international off their books with an £8 million cut-price deal.

Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg and Turkish giants Galatasaray are also interested in the 23-year-old winger.
