Looking to immediately bounce back from their woeful performance in the New York derby last weekend, in the early hours of Monday New York City will travel to the Banc of California Stadium to face off against an inform Los Angeles side.

For former USA boss Bob Bradley, the MLS’ latest franchise have taken America by storm and are already tipped by many as a potential outright champion. Now sat second in the Western Conference and with the third best-attacking record in the entire MLS, Los Angeles are coming off the back of a 2-0 win at home to Minnesota United and are now unbeaten in their last five, winning four of those. A key part of The Whites impressive start has been the form of 20-year-old Uragyian Diego Rossi, in his debut season in the MLS, the midfielder already has six assists and four goals in nine games this year.

As for Patrick Viera’s New York City side, with their still much speculation over the future of the Arsenal legend, it appears that the Sky Blues have been affected by the uncertainty. Although many had last years runners ups as a potential outright winner this year, NYC are coming off the back of a shocking 4-0 loss to arch rivals New York Red Bulls and their defensive issues have begun to show. Conceding three in the first 20 minuets, Viera’s side have now shipped 10 in their last four and they have also now lost their last two away games on the bounce, conceding seven in their recent travels.
