After booking their spot in the quarter-finals of this years US Open Cup, Los Angeles FC will look to carry on their impressive form at home when they meet Columbus Crew in the early hours of Sunday morning.

For former USA national boss Bob Bradley, although it may be their first year in the MLS, Los Angeles have arguably become the Western Conference’s most exciting team to watch. Coming off the back of a 3-2 win against Sacramento Raptors last time out, the hosts have now won their last three matches on the bounce and have found the net nine times in those three outings. Still yet to be beaten at home since joining the MLS, despite top scorer Carlos Vela being away with Mexico at the World Cup, LAFC will be looking for 20-year-old Diego Rossi to lead from the front. The Uruguayan U21 international now has five for the season and also has two in his last two for The Whites.

As for former Crystal Palace player Gregg Berhalter, despite a bright start to their Eastern Conference campaign, The Crew have recently come crashing out of the US Open Cup in a penalties defeat to Chicago Fire and they are now without a win in any competition over the past month. Coming off the back of a 2-0 loss to Atlanta, The Crew now sit six points adrift of the top of the table and if they are to pull of an upset victory on Sunday, they will need striker Gyasi Zardes to pull them through. The former LA Galaxy forward now has two in his last three.
