The Nilis era is seemingly about to experience a revival at PSV Eindhoven as 17 year old Arne, sun of club legend Luc Nilis, joined the Dutch side.

The talented midfielder, who will be joining the Dutch champions from Belgian team Racing Genk, signed a three-year deal today.

“It does feel like a second home. I came to watch my dad for six years. The mentality of the people here, and the fans, I really like that,” said the youngster.

Asked whether he plays like his father: “I can’t really say, others can decide that. I do have to take more advantage of overview and kicking technique. On the ball, I’m at my best.”

Luc Nilis, who spearheaded PSV’s attack in the nineties, recently returned to the club to form part of the technical staff.
