Lucas Podolski opens kebab restaurant in hometown Cologne (VIDEO)

Lucas Podolski is the man who never forgets where he came from and is regularly returning to his hometown Cologne.

It was this week that former German international opened another business venture in his town, expanding his business line which now includes a kebab restaurant aside from the clothing store and the ice-cream store.

Mangal Kebab is the name of his latest shop and judging by the line of some 1,000 people at the opening, it is poised to be a great hit.

“Other folks head to the golfing course after training, and just hang around there all-day long. I sell ice cream, Kebab and clothing, have fun and everyone can take something home. I back this project 100%, and will help where I can help. I want to continue developing this project. I always put my foot to the floor!”, Podolski commented on his new business.
