Luis Fabiano unhappy at Sevilla

Luis Fabiano is becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of first team football at Sevilla and his agent confirmed the Brazilian was looking to leave los Rojiblancos.

Despite summer interest from clubs like Tottenham and Marseille, Fabiano decided to extend his contract with Sevilla only to find himself out of the starting line-up at the start of the season.

His agent, Jose Fuentes reveals Fabiano is far from happy with the current situation.

“The situation is unpleasant. Luis Fabiano does not understand and neither do we. I don’t understand Sevilla’s decision to give him a new deal until 2013 and then leave him on the bench.

“He is Brazil’s number nine and has scored 95 goals for Sevilla, and that merits respect. If it doesn’t change then we are obliged to seek a move.”

The Brazilian striker is set to get a chance for a fresh start with Gregorio Manzano taking over from Antonio Alvarez, and that could make him change his mind and remain at the club after all.
