Lyon eyeing Lucas Hernandez

Lyon are considering a summer move for Atletico Madrid starlet Lucas Hernandez, El Mundo Deportivo has learned.

Les Gones have worked hard to keep all key players in the squad this summer, with the likes of Lacazette, Fekir and Umtiti all staying.

The club officials are now turning towards potential reinforcements and are currently looking at Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez.

Lyon are keen to lure the France Under-19 international to Stade Gerland at the earliest opportunity, but the problem is that los Colchoneros are not prepared to sell one of their hottest prospects.

Les Gones do hope that the youngster’s desire to play on regular basis will help persuade Atletico to consider their proposal of a season-long loan with an option to buy.

Lucas Hernandez has already been training with the first team under Diego Simeone and he made one La Liga appearance last season, while starting three Copa del Rey matches.
