Lyon ponder swoop for Adnan Januzaj

French media outlet L’Equipe has suggested that Lyon are weighing up January bid for Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj.

Les Gones are currently focused on warding off interest in Alexandre Lacazette, Corentin Tolisso and Nabil Fekir, but they are also in the market for attacking reinforcements.

With Rachid Ghezzal away on international duty and likely to leave in the summer, Lyon have expressed interest in signing Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj.

Even though the 21-year-old is currently on loan at Sunderland, les Gones hope they can find an agreement with the Red Devils and add the Belgian to their ranks in the January window.

Januzaj has had mixed success since arriving at the Stadium of Light, failing to score in 13 Premier League outings.

Nevertheless, Lyon seem to believe that the attacking midfielder has the potential to develop into a quality footballer and they will be stepping up their interest in the coming days.
