Lyon rekindle interest in Ryad Boudebouz

Le Progres is reporting that French giants Lyon are hot on the trail of Montpellier hotshot Ryad Boudebouz.

Les Gones expect to earn around €100 million from the sales of Alexandre Lacazette and Corentin Tolisso, and they plan to invest some of the money into new players.

According to Le Progres, Montpellier star Ryad Boudebouz has emerged as their top target.

Lyon had been keen on the attacking midfielder few years back when he was playing for Sochaux, and les Gones have now taken notice of his excellent performances.

Boudebouz has enjoyed by far the most successful campaign in his career, producing 11 goals and 9 assists in 32 league outings despite playing for the relegation strugglers.

Following spells with Sochaux, Bastia and Montpellier, the time has come now for the Algerian to join a top side and Lyon appear to be the favourites for his signature.
