Premier League giants Liverpool are hot on the trail of Lyon full-back Jordy Gaspar, L’Equipe can reveal.
The 19-year-old has been unable to break into the first team set-up at Parc OL, with Christophe Jallet and Rafael in front of him in the pecking order.
However, that does not mean that the youngster is not held in high regard by other top clubs as he is currently being linked with two of those.
Namely, both Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are thinking about making a move on the highly rated right-sided defender, who can also operate on the left hand side.
The good news is that Gaspar still hasn’t signed a professional deal with Lyon, meaning he will be available on a cut-back price.
Lyon have become famous for developing quality youngsters in their youth academy, but the right-back could leave without making a single senior appearance.
