Manuel Machado has returned to the helm at Portuguese side CD Nacional. The 52-year-old, who guided the Madeira club to fifth and a UEFA Cup spot in 2005/06, replaces Predgrag Jokanović, who departed after leading Nacional to a tenth-placed finish this season.
“I am pleased he is back and we will try and achieve our goals step by step,” said club president Rui Alves. “The biggest goal is to stay in the top division.”
