Former Fenerbahce midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha has warned Real Madrid they can expect some rough stuff when they face Galatasaray in Turkey.
The Spanish champions triumphed 3-0 in the first leg of the two sides’ Champions League quarter-final clash on Wednesday, and the Nigerian feels they could be in for a hostile reception in Turkey for the return game.
Okocha warned the home side’s fans will be doing everything in their capacity to put off Jose Mourinho’s side ahead of the fixture.
“If you fly in as a visiting team from a foreign country, (Galatasaray fans) won’t let you sleep; they will come to your hotel and disturb you,” Okocha said.
“And if you have a Galatasaray fan serving you in the hotel, I don’t think you will get the best service.
“It’s a really difficult place to go to but I think with the experience of Real Madrid and with the result they have gotten (on Wednesday), they will do well.”
Galatasaray and Real Madrid meet in the second leg on Tuesday.
