Maguire set for new Leicester City deal

Harry Maguire is set to sign a new contract at Leicester City, according to the Telegraph.

The defender was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United during the recently closed transfer window but remained with the Foxes and he is now set to be offered a lucrative new deal.

Since signing from Hull City in the summer of 2017 the twenty-five-year old has racked up forty-five appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals while he was named their Player of the Year for the 2017/18 campaign.

His form last term saw him selected for England’s World Cup finals squad and he appeared in all seven of their games, scoring his first international goal in the quarter-final victory over Sweden last month.

Having opened their season with a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Friday evening, Claude Puel’s side are priced at 19/10 to win at Southampton on Saturday.
