Spanish Primera Division side RCD Mallorca have secured the services of Israeli goalkeeper Dudu Aouate from Deportivo la Coruña.
The Galician side reportedly felt forced to sell the player due to financial troubles, and Mallorca needed little time to decide to sign the 31-year-old.
Aouate, who will have to compete with German Lux and Miguel Moya for a spot between the posts, arrived to Spain in 2003, joining Racing Santander from Maccabi Haifa. In 2006, the keeper made a move to Deportivo.
Mallorca are said to pay one million Euros for the player, a big contrast with the eight million offered by Valencia last summer. At the time, Deportivo didn’t plan to let go of the keeper and rejected the bid.
