Daily Mirror is reporting that Manchester City are ready to splash the cash on Juventus star Paul Pogba in the summer.

The Citizens are preparing for life without Yaya Toure and they believe the French midfielder would be a perfect long-term replacement for the Ivorian.

As a result, they are prepared to offer Juventus £70 million for his services, as well as make Pogba their highest paid player in history.

According to Daily Mirror, Manchester City plan to offer the France star a long-term deal worth £250,000 per week after tax.

The Citizens are well aware that the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen, but they hope Pogba will eventually arrive at the Etihad.

The highly rated midfielder will be in the starting line-up when Real host Juventus in the second leg of the CL semis, with the Bianconeri priced at 11/10 to make it to the final.

Bayern in talks for Brahimi

German magazine Kicker has learned that Bayern Munich are stepping up their interest in FC Porto hotshot Yacine Brahimi.

Injuries to Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery showed the club officials that the squad do not have decent replacements for the two wingers, and they are determined to address the issue in the summer transfer window.

According to Kicker, Bayern have made Porto’s Yacine Brahimi their primary target and technical director Michael Reschke already contacted the player’s representatives.

With few more top sides showing interest in the Algerian, the Bavarians need to act quickly if they want to get their man.

Yacine Brahimi, who has a contract until June 2019 with FC Porto, made an instant impact at Estadio do Dragao, bagging 13 goals in 39 competitive appearances.

He is widely tipped to leave the Dragons for greener pastures in the summer despite only joining from Granada a year ago.

PSG make offer for Nainggolan

Paris Saint-Germain have submitted an official proposal for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.

The Saints are on the lookout for a high-profile central midfielder and while they appear to be losing the chase for Paul Pogba, the French giants seem to be considering other targets.

The latest reports suggest that Radja Nainggolan has emerged as their latest target, with PSG already submitting an official offer for his services.

The Belgian midfielder is co-owned by Roma and Cagliari, and it is believed the Serie A clubs are holding out for €40 million combined fee.

Nainggolan, 27, has spent last year and a half at Stadio Olimpico, making 49 league appearances and scoring 6 goals.

Roma were initially ready to purchase the remaining half of his contract from Cagliari, but they are now ready to consider selling their stake in the player.
