Premier League side Manchester City have set their sights on Borussia Dortmund in-form striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 27-year-old Gabon international has picked up from where he left off last season and is enjoying sensational form of late having already scored five goals in only four Bundesliga matches.
Dortmund striker has added two more goals in as many UEFA Champions League appearances against Legia Warsaw and Real Madrid last time out during the midweek 2-2 thriller.
According to reports from the English Italian and media, Corriere dello Sport most notably, Manchester City have been alerted by Aubameyang continual goal scoring exploits with Citizens’ manager Pep Guardiola turning his attention towards the Borussia Dortmund forward.
Aubameyang’s contract with Dortmund runs until 2020, but the player has been constantly linked with a move away from Germany.
The player himself conceded he has a soft spot for Real Madrid, but has also revealed recently that he was on verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain during summer, meaning that Pep Guardiola will have his chances of landing the versatile striker who is being regarded as a perfect fit for Spaniard’s tactical visions.
